Ray of Role Model

Our facilitators know that we are constantly observed by lots of tiny eyes. Children are very alert, very sophisticated and aware of the world around them. So, we use our professionalism to model the kind of behavior we expect from them at all times. This requires a lot of work on ourselves in emphasizing our role, our beliefs and our values in the presence of a child.

Ray of Positive Discipline

Our facilitators guide children to find the delicate balance between freedom and respect using positive approach. We encourage children to regulate themselves well and to develop an understanding of freedom of choice and the consequences that follow from within themselves.

Ray of Environment

Our facilitators work hard to constantly improve the environment around Daisy, as they know it serves as the “third facilitator”. All aspects of the environment must provide children with the opportunities to discover, explore, have questions, learn and find outcomes. We provide Montessori materials, child-sized tools, loose parts and elements of the nature to navigate our space.

Ray of Rhythm

Here, we have time for all types of learners. Our facilitators cast their magic spells in creating an atmosphere that gives children an adequate amount of time to do what they want and to step back from what they are doing to rethink their next move. That’s the rhythm of learning that enables a child to become decision makers.

Ray of Diversity

A mixed-age, mixed-race, mixed-gender class of children and facilitators working together creates a chance to learn from one another and engage with each other in harmony. Such special interaction will keep the child open-minded, to accept a multitude of opinions, respect others and be non-judgmental. They are well-prepared to become future global citizens.

Ray of Beautiful mind

Our facilitators use positive communication to work with children’s minds, reflecting their emotions and asking open-ended questions. We know that the language we use works directly with children’s brain and how children see themselves. Identity and confidence, along with healthy growth mindset, can be formed through the use of the right words.

Ray of Observation

The significant role of our facilitators is to be observers. Observation allows us to analyze children’s characters and ways of learning. The observation results are then used in preparing the environment and programs suitable for each individual needs as well as working with the children’s families. No golden period of learning can slip through our facilitators’ observative eyes.

Ray of Belonging

Our facilitators devote themselves to develop a strong relationship with each child as a child tends to grow and learn better when he or she has a strong sense of trust, security, and self-confidence. Our appropriate facilitator-to-children ratio allows this connection to happen and enable everyone to feel the sense of belonging within the home outside of their homes.
